TfL adopts Green’s cable car plan to boost cross-Thames access

Transport for London this week unveiled plans for a privately funded cable car to improve transport links across the Thames in East London.

The cable car would provide a new river crossing for pedestrians and cyclists between the Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks.
