No changes to bus regulation will be made in England until after the Competition Commission completes its review of the local bus market next summer, the DfT has announced.
“I intend to wait for the outcome of the Competition Commission inquiry into the local bus market in England outside London before deciding on the need for any further regulatory reform of bus provision,” said transport minister Norman Baker.
