New head of rail at Jacobs Consultancy

Richard Middleton joined Jacobs Consultancy at the end of March as a director and head of rail.

He joins from Steer Davies Gleave, however, before moving into consultancy, Middleton held senior positions in a number of railway companies, including group general manager - passenger business for New Zealand Railways and group general manager - Cityrail for the State Rail Authority in New South Wales.
