Think-tank backs Notts parking levy

Nottingham’s proposed workplace parking levy could boost the city's economy by providing additional funds for transport infrastructure projects, according to think-tank Centre for Cities. It believes that with less government funding being available in a recession, councils must look to workplace levies and other sources to raise money for major schemes.
