Woman gets 21-day driving ban in landmark case
A driver caught using her dead mother’s blue badge has been banned from driving for 21 days. District judge Ken Sheraton took the unusual step of imposing the ban, as well as a fine, on Sandra Bennett after she was found to be using the badge in a car park in Peterborough city centre.
