Taunton’s ‘Gateway’ park-and-ride site, located on the A358 close to the M5 junction 25, partially opened this week. Once fully complete the site will include 1,000 car parking spaces, cycle parking and a terminal building with information displays and toilets. A dedicated bus service runs to the town centre every seven minutes during peak times and every 12 minutes at off-peak times. The council says it aims to have the site fully completed in January.
