Plans for an orbital bus service making use of the hard shoulder on the Edinburgh city bypass have been unveiled by the South East Scotland transport partnership.
The Edinburgh Orbital Bus Rapid Transit system (EOBRT) would run from Edinburgh Airport in the west via Edinburgh Park and then along the hard shoulder of the A720 city bypass, ending at a new park-and-ride site built on the former Millerhill marshalling yard close to the A720/A68 junction.
