The DfT has announced £14m to provide better cycle facilities at rail stations across England.
The funding over the next two years will support ‘cycle hubs’ at ten major rail stations as well as 10,000 extra cycle parking spaces across the network. The cycle hubs should feature extra cycle storage facilities, repair services, hire schemes and improved cycle access to and from stations.
