The London Borough of Newham is to study whether some of the borough’s bus lanes could be converted to high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes.
The idea is part of a wider review of traffic management on a number of key corridors including Romford Road, Barking Road and Green Street. Newham has included proposals to study each corridor as part of its 2010/11 local implementation plan submission to Transport for London.
