Manchester light rail operator Metrolink this week opened a new park and ride scheme in Sale in co-operation with car park operator Q-Park.
The scheme started on Mondayat the Waterside car park which is opposite the Sale Metrolink stop and easily accessible from the M60. Tickets, which are bought in the car park, cost £6 and include all-day parking and a return Metrolink journey to the city centre.
