Bus builder Alexander Dennis has announced that it is looking at making a significant number of staff redundant following a downturn in orders in recent months.

The news comes just weeks after Ballymena-based competitor Wrightbus announced that it was looking to make over 200 staff redundant following a “sudden downturn in demand” (Transit March 6).
