A major electric vehicle programme could be set up in the North East of England under proposals being drawn up by the region’s development agency, One NorthEast.
The RDA is scrutinising expressions of interest from consultants to design and scope an electric vehicle infrastructure that could support a “large-scale demonstration and trials” across the region.
