Council-owned bus operator Eastbourne Buses could be on the verge of new ownership after councillors held a closed cabinet meeting this week to debate the future of the firm.
The news follows industry rumours that have linked both Go Ahead and Stagecoach with the acquisition of the operator in which French group Keolis owns a minority stake.
