DYNAMEQ is an equilibrium dynamic traffic assignment model for use on large, congested networks. It can be used to evaluate the impacts of congestion relief strategies, alternative signal timing plans, HOV facilities, construction mitigation measures and loss of critical infrastructure, as well as model the impact of roadway congestion on public transport vehicles and the delays to private vehicles caused by public transport stops.
