Pressure is building on London mayor Boris Johnson to keep bendy buses on the capital’s Red Arrow routes.
Johnson was elected mayor of London in May with a pledge to get rid of all bendy buses and replace them with a “21st century Routemaster”. However, pressure is building on the mayor not to apply this policy to the two Red Arrow routes, on which 28 bendy buses serve Waterloo and Victoria railway stations and at peak times.
