London Central has lost the contracts for two bus routes in the capital. The blow will see 35 buses worth of work lost from the firm’s Camberwell Garage.
From May next year, National Express-owned Travel London, which is based just across the road from Camberwell Garage, will commence operation of route 35 between Clapham Junction and Shoreditch and route 40 between Dulwich and Aldgate. The contracts require a peak vehicle requirement of 35 new buses.
