Parking spaces are set to double

The station investment programme for Virgin’s new West Coast franchise will see car parking spaces doubled to accommodate the expected 14 million increase in passengers by 2012. The first stations where car parks will be expanded will be Preston, Stafford, Rugby, Coventry, Birmingham International and Runcorn.
