Work has started on building a park-and-ride site facility at Straiton, just south of the A720 Edinburgh city bypass. The 600-space facility will be located adjacent to the A701 and include a staffed building with a ticket office, toilets, and seating. A four-minute-frequency peak-hour bus service, including an express service, is planned to run to the city centre when the site opens next August. The park-and-ride is part of the Leith to Straiton/Ferniehill Quality Bus Corridor scheme....
