The West Midlands will receive £1bn to expand the region’s tram, train, bus and cycle networks, as well as more electric vehicle charging points.

The funding is being allocated to the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) via the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) fund.
