British Gas has placed an order with Vauxhall for 2,000 all-electric Vivaro-e vans, in what is claimed to be the largest ever electric vehicle order for a commercial fleet. British Gas ordered 1,000 Vivaro-e vans last summer. All 3,000 will be on the road in 2022. Centrica, owner of British Gas, has committed to electrify its 12,000 operational vehicle fleet by 2025. It has also committed to make its 1,500 company cars EV-only in the same timeframe....
