Volunteers are being recruited for a trial of vehicle to grid (V2G), whereby electric vehicle batteries can feed energy back to the electricity grid at peak times of electricity demand.
The Electric Nation V2G project is being delivered by Western Power Distribution in partnership with CrowdCharge.
One hundred Nissan electric vehicle owners in the Western Power licence areas of the Midlands, South West England and South Wales will take part in the project.
