Road to rail evidence sought

The Independent Transport Commission (ITC) has launched a ‘call for evidence’ on the subject ‘Road to Rail: Factors Affecting Trends in GB Car Traffic and Rail Patronage’. Car travel in Britain has been stagnating in recent years, particularly amongst younger people, while rail travel has been increasing, the ITC says.
