Warwicks rules out joining ITA as councils grapple with role of LEPs

Warwickshire County Council has rejected an invitation to become a member of West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority (WMITA), as the area’s political leaders grapple with how to reform transport governance to accommodate Local Enterprise Partnerships.

Three local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) have been set up in the West Midlands, covering  the Black Country, Greater Birmingham & Solihull, and Coventry and Warwickshire.
