Swansea stalls on traffic ban

Plans to ban traffic from Swansea’s Wind Street every night of the week have been put on hold, after complaints that elderly and disabled people would have difficulty accessing Labour and Railmen’s clubs in the street. Police wanted a weekend nocturnal traffic ban extended to other nights, partly because of concern about confusion for drinkers accustomed to a traffic-free street on weekends....
