The Highways Agency is carrying out surveys and detailed design work on the planned new M20 junction 10A following the DfT’s confirmation of the scheme. The new junction will be located 700 metres south-east of the existing junction 10 and will provide improved access to the east of Ashford. It will also provide capacity for traffic from the planned construction of 31,000 homes that are due to be built in Kent by 2031.
