Highways England has awarded contracts for the design and construction of the £1.5bn A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon road improvement project.
An Atkins CH2M joint venture has won the detailed design contract, worth £35.3m. The initial award is for the development, with a value of £19.6m. If the scheme is given the go-ahead, the joint venture will provide design support and site assurance services throughout the scheme to a value of £15.7m.
