USA-based Urban planning professors Michael C. Lens and Paavo Monkkonen have recently published the results of new research in the Journal of the American Planning Association after an intensive analysis of new data on the 95 biggest cities in the United States. They suggest that their data analysis reveals that US cities are segregating the wealthy, and that restrictive land use regulations in cities are associated with income segregation.
