New measures to tackle flyposting pioneered in Scotland

Local authorities are set to receive new guidance on how to tackle illegal fly-posting in a bid to boost the appearance of Scotland's cities, town centres and rural areas. A new Planning Advice Note from the Scottish Executive, Control and Management of Fly-Posting, encourages councils to work with companies that use fly-posting to promote business or events, and discourage illegal postings.
