Vision Zero maps route to making London a safer city

Mayor of London’s sets out an ambition to eliminate all deaths and serious injuries from London’s transport network by 2041

The use artificial intelligence (AI) to detect dangerous drivers, more 20mph limits, a trial of side road zebras and action on SUVs all feature in the Mayor of London’s plan to reduce road danger and prevent deaths and serious injuries on roads in the capital over the next five years.

A set of 43 actions have been drawn up to support Mayor Sadiq Khan’s Vision Zero ambition to eliminate all deaths and serious injuries from London’s transport network by 2041.
