Aberdeen police warning over fake parking payments

Police Scotland is asking drivers to be cautious following reports of parking fraud in Aberdeen.

Fake QR codes have posted on legitimate parking bays at several locations across the city. The codes send users to a parking payment website.

A small amount of money is taken for the parking, but drivers then find larger sums of money taken from their account later.
