Automatic number plate recognition technology to be introduced at several East Midlands Railway station car parks.
The new system is intended streamline parking for customers, removing the need for paper permits and simplifying payment. It is being carried out by EMR’s parking contractor APCOA UK.
The roll-out is starting with East Midlands Parkway and Leicester, with eight more to follow.
