Launching a new initiative to sell unused railway land to developers to build homes for first-time buyers as part of its plan to build 1. 5 million new homes.

The scheme has the aim of constructing 15,000 homes around the railway in five years, starting with major cities like Cambridge and Manchester, and an ultimate total of 40,000 homes by 2029.
