Northumberland County Council wants Major Road Network funding for a new link road in Blyth. The east-west link road from the Princess Louise Road to the A192/A189 Three Horseshoes roundabout would relieve the A193 Cowpen Road and the A1061 Laverock Hall Road. The project has an estimated cost of £22.2m, with the council envisaging £3.3m being sourced locally. A start of construction is envisaged in March 2023 with opening in March 2024....
