Veolia’s rapid invasion of the UK bus market

VEOLIA, WHICH previously operated as the much derided Connex, made a surprise return to the UK transport market in October 2005 with its purchase of Welsh bus and coach operator Bebb Travel. It followed this up with the acquisition of the AIM-listed bus and coach operator Dunn-Line in March 2006.
