Travel London maintains growth but margins slip

BUS operator Travel London saw increased cash operating and pre-tax profits but slightly lower margins in the year to December 31 2007, according its annual accounts.

The company operates a fleet of around 450 vehicles on contract bus services to Transport for London from depots in Beddington and Walworth. The business was acquired from French transport group Connex in 2004, but it has been turned round and expanded by its new owners.
