Mayor of London wants to see work start as soon as possible

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has confirmed the next steps to make Oxford Street traffic-free by the end of this summer.

The pedestrianisation of Oxford Street between Orchard Street and Great Portland Street follows a second public consultation that generated more than 2,700 responses.
