Octopus packages up EV fleet charging offer

Energy company Octopus has launched a new product for electric vehicle fleet operators.

Octopus Fleet enables businesses to mix and match Octopus’s fleet solutions, which include the Electroverse public charging network, a fleet charging card and a Visa-powered business payments card. Octopus also offers EV chargers, rooftop solar and batteries.

Fleet drivers will also be able to benefit from Octopus’s Plunge Pricing approach, which unlocks discounts of up to 50% whenever an abundance of green energy is flooding the grid.

Octopus has also launched a Home Charging Reimbursement scheme, which unlocks fleet top-ups at home. Fleet drivers plug into their compatible home EV charger and select whether the charge is for business or personal use. Octopus’s technology automatically reimburses the driver’s energy account for all business charges each month. This reduces administration and offers clearer cost control, with all charging data wrapped up in a single invoice for the entire fleet.
