Persistent vandalism has led to the overnight closure of the car park at the rear of Woking Leisure Centre.
A safety inspection confirmed significant damage to the electrical and lighting system, meaning the Surrey council has had no choice but to switch off all lighting until repairs can be completed.
The car park, located underneath the 3G sports pitches at the rear of Woking Leisure Centre, will close at 4.30pm daily. Daytime access remains unaffected.
