The previous Government’s decision to extend the phasing out of all new petrol and diesel- powered cars and vans from 2030 to 2035 must be reversed by the new Labour administration, says the Climate Change Committee (CCC) in a new report.
It also urged the new Government to remove planning barriers for electric vehicle charge points, heat pumps and onshore wind.
