Alton Water Park in Suffolk offers a range of activities in, on and around its waters, making it a popular destination for holidaymakers and campers, most of whom come by road. As such is has parking for approximately 1,000 cars.

Anglian Water had used pay & display machines for many years to collect revenues to be used for ongoing site investment and maintenance of the water park. However, the water company has upgraded to a pay-on-foot system to deliver a better parking experience.
