New guidance for naming and renaming streets and buildings have been published by GeoPlace.
The guidance combines a range of considerations, observations, legal definitions and procedures, annexes, and references to useful sources. It also takes local authorities through all of the necessary processes.GeoPlace is a joint venture between the Local Government Association and Ordnance Survey.
