More than eight out of 10 drivers (85%) said that the signs for electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints should be turned green to make them more prominent, according to the AA.

The motoring organisation has observed that drivers perceive there is a shortfall of chargepoints, even though there are more charge points than fuel forecourts. It believes changing the EV charging sign could help break down this barrier to ownership as it will make charging points stand out.
