CitiPark has launched CitiCharge, a subscription-free electric vehicle (EV) charging network. The first 480-volt electric vehicle rapid charging station has been set up at the Merrion Centre in Leeds.
It has an electric output of 50kWh and is capable of providing 80% charge to EVs in between 20 and 40 minutes. The charger allows two vehicles to charge simultaneously, using either the 50kWh DC port (CCS or CHAdeMO) or the 43kWh AC port (Type 2).
