Star Wars: The Force Awakens was, arguably, the most eagerly awaited sequel of all time. Some 33 years after the original trilogy closed with Return of the Jedi, the new movie promised fans a chance to see Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia in action again.

The Force Awakens was a commercial and critical hit, but even those who loved Episode VII had one regret. Holding back Luke’s appearance until the final moments of the film meant that fans were denied the vision of him, Han and Leia all on screen together.

Now to the parking bit. There was a lovely exchange between Mark Hamil (@HamillHimself) and a follower called Jedia Knight@peeeshorty

Jedi Knight asked: “What was ur feeling of not having a scene with u, Carrie & Harrison 2gether in episode 8?”

@HamillHimself answered: “It was like they invited me to Disneyland, then made me stay in the parking lot.”
