Macclesfield’s Jordangate multi-storey car park, owned by Cheshire County Council, has undergone an extensive refurbishment carried out by Concrete Repairs (CRL) using materials produced by BASF.
A structural appraisal of the 22-year-old, 337-space MSCP identified chloride penetration within the concrete fabric. The initial survey recommended treatment using cathodic protection to control corrosion in the steel reinforcement.
