The upper storey of Bowers Way West car park in Harpenden is to be closed for an estimated five weeks to allow for essential structural repairs.
The car park is owned by Sainsbury's which has an adjoining supermarket, and operated by St Albans City and District Council under a lease.
Sainsbury's, which is responsible for the building’s structure, has informed the xouncil that the remedial work to steel beams is scheduled to start on Monday 9 February.
