All 5,000 parking spaces at Westfield Stratford City closed to the public on 18 June as part of the preparations for the London 2012 Olympic Games, which take place on the shopping centre’s doorstep.
The plan to close the car parks for three months while the Olympic and Paralympics take place was agreed by Westfield with the London 2012 Organising Committee before the centre opened last year. The shopping centre will remain accessible via bus, train and Tube services....
