ANPR captures bus lane offences across Leeds

Leeds City Council has hailed bus lane enforcement cameras as a success in enforcing bus lane regulations in the city centre, since its introduction in August 2011. Since then 29,325 drivers have been fined a total of £712,000 for flouting bus lane regulations through the automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology.
