Plans to create a solar-powered car park in Wolverhampton has been approved.
Around 1,400 solar panels will be installed on car ports to power the car park next to the Wickes store off Stafford Road. Surplus energy will be stored to help power the surrounding community.
There would also be 82 electric vehicle charging points. Some 1,200 plants will be planted.
