New guidance to help boroughs roll out cross-pavement electric vehicle charging has been published by London Councils.
Cross-pavement charging can offer a practical solution to meeting the needs of growing numbers of EV owners, says the report. Using either a surface ‘gully’ or a system buried under the pavement, they allow charging cables from a home charge point to safely cross the pavement to an electric vehicle parked on the street, it states.
